Overview

The Z Zurich Foundation aims to empower vulnerable individuals and help them navigate and succeed in a rapidly changing world. By prioritizing mental wellness and promoting social equality, the foundation works towards a more equal world where everyone has control over their own future. To achieve this, the foundation emphasizes the importance of connection and supporting impactful leaders. As part of this effort, the Z Zurich Foundation is offering the 2023 Scholarship to young leaders who are working on projects related to mental wellness or promoting social equality through education, employment, or entrepreneurship. The scholarship will allow 16 selected leaders to attend the One Young World Summit 2023 in Belfast, United Kingdom from October 2-5. Benefits

• Access to the One Young World Summit 2023 in Belfast
• Access to additional scholarship programming organized by Z Zurich Foundation, including:
  • Pre and post One Young World Summit calls and meetings with the Zurich Insurance Group delegation
  • Opportunity to pitch for funding to increase impact
• Hotel accommodation in Belfast from October 1 to 6 (inclusive)

• Ground transportation between Summit venues in Belfast

Criteria

• Aged 18 to 30 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2023
• Passion for local and global issues
• Demonstrated commitment to creating positive change
• Willingness to engage and collaborate with fellow scholarship recipients and Zurich employees at the Summit
• Demonstrated impact in a field aligned with the work of the Z Zurich Foundation, including:
  • Improving Mental Wellbeing
  • Enabling Social Equity
