Status: Ongoing.

Deadline: 1 March 2023.

Overview

The United Nations, along with its partners, estimates that despite the need for around US$51.5 billion to assist 230 million people in 69 countries, there will still be a shortfall in aid for those in need globally. To address this, the WFP Innovation Accelerator, in partnership with the Government of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and Austrian Development Cooperation, is launching the Humanitarian Innovation Accelerator Program.

Go, Humanitarian Innovation Accelerator Program

This program is searching for high-impact, innovative solutions to tackle emergency and humanitarian challenges faced by vulnerable populations and humanitarian organizations. The program will support technology-powered solutions for humanitarian issues and select ventures and solution providers, both early-stage and mature, to receive financial support, technical assistance, and guidance from the WFP Innovation Accelerator and other partners.

By working with leading innovators worldwide, the Humanitarian Innovation Accelerator Program aims to enhance the well-being of vulnerable communities and address pressing global challenges in the humanitarian space.
