Overview
The “Diasporans Africa” community, which is a platform aimed at providing support and guidance for Africans who are migrating to the United States. The community offers a variety of networking opportunities, support and guidance, access to information, mentorship, job opportunities, cultural adaptation, access to resources, a sense of belonging, emotional support, and a connection with others who understand the challenges of migration. By joining the community, members can connect with other Africans in diaspora, build a sense of community, and make the process of moving to the US smoother and easier.
The Diasporans Africa community event is scheduled to take place on March 4th, 2023, at 4:00pm (WAT), aimed at helping future US students find ways to sponsor their education. The community recognizes that pursuing higher education in the US can be costly, and they believe that funding should not be an obstacle to achieving one’s dream.
The event promises to provide valuable insights on how to access various types of funding before and after arriving in the US, even if one has already received a scholarship. The Diasporans Africa community encourages students not to miss this opportunity to learn about alternative ways to fund their education.
