About the Event?
Innovate Africa Summit (IAS) is an annual Pan-African social innovation and entrepreneurship program organized by Truthsprout Global Network, a non-profit youth-led organization focused on SDGs 8, 17 & 4. The summit is hosted in different African countries.
The 2021 edition was held in Nigeria’s most ancient city, Benin City, Edo state. This 2022 edition will hold in the city of Accra, Ghana.
IAS OBJECTIVES
1.To engage in strategic discussions on how young social innovators and entrepreneurs can transform Africa’s economy.
2.To foster cross- cultural experiences by hosting delegates from other African countries.
3.To assemble industry experts, thought leaders and key influencers to create a quality experience that will lead to change.
4.To provide a networking environment for young African innovators and change makers to build meaningful connections.
5.To promote synergy among individuals and organizations through strategic partnerships and collaborations.
6.To create a shared vision and recommendations about Africa’s future direction.
7.To discover the imperatives for change in Africa.
8.To establish principles to guide Africa’s future actions.
9.To foster new relationships with young innovators and entrepreneurs that can facilitate change and future action.
Who is Eligible?
The participants are required to meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Are between the ages of 18 – 35 at the time of the Summit
- Have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change
- Demonstrate the capacity for leadership
- Are addressing key local and/or global issues in your work
- Have a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas
- Determination to bring ideas into action
