The Ashden Awards 2023 are now accepting applications! This year, the Awards will focus on inclusive innovation for a fairer low-carbon world by addressing inequality and empowering communities facing the climate crisis through job creation, skills development, and training. Ashden recognizes and rewards organizations of all sizes and backgrounds, rather than just the largest or most well-marketed. They are looking for applicants with passion, potential, and commitment to the Ashden values. Ashden winners have had the opportunity to present at the COP climate talks and gain international recognition through media coverage.

Ashden also creates promotional films and helps winners gain coverage in mainstream and specialist media, as well as through their growing digital channels. They have helped previous winners gain coverage at Sky News, The Telegraph, Times of India, Al Jazeera, New Scientist, and other leading platforms. The views, needs, and insights of award winners are at the heart of Ashden’s influential reports, toolkits, and events which shape the views of key climate decision makers. All winners join the Ashden network, giving them the chance to connect with new partners through masterclasses, investor pitching events, and introductions to influential policymakers.

Eligibility

  • The work submitted for an award must be currently available to customers, clients or beneficiaries.
  • The applicant must show an innovative approach in their work.
  • The applicant’s work must have the potential to create significant impact. This might be achieved by their growth as an organisation, or the replication of their innovation around the world.
